Welcome to my website, my name is Dan Stallard and I am an artist living and working in Swansea, South Wales.

I am an oil painter and printmaker with a love of everything colourful. I create bright oil paintings, prints and greetings cards inspired by the natural world.

I began training to be an artist in 1992 completing a Foundation Course in Art, followed by a degree in illustration. Initially I didn’t follow a career in art and it wasn’t until 2007 that I made a life changing decision to pursue my passion and become an artist. From that day to the present I have been finding inspiration from the natural world around me and it is my aim to share these experiences through my painting.

Since beginning this journey I have be fortunate enough to exhibit in many galleries in South Wales, including the ‘Albany Gallery’ in Cardiff, and have had solo exhibitions at the ‘Rhondda Heritage Park’ and ‘Cynon Valley Museum & Gallery’. I also exhibit my work at events across the UK, most recently I have exhibited at the Rhs Cardiff, Malvern and Tatton Flower Shows.
